My favooorrrrright holiday of course
For all C4D users ...Version 6.x up
We need pumpkins to squash, mash, mutilate, throw in the street. light on fire
and carve up in strange ways.
Why oh why must we treat them like my neighbor??? hahahahahaa ...kidding. Really
I am ; )
This is just one fast method to make a segmented linear loft for use
later in a BodyPaint tutorial - it isn't the end all and be all of pumpkin tutorials
on the web I'm sure. As a matter of fact I couldn't find a pumpkin tutorial
on the web, now how freakin odd is that I ask????
This will explain briefly into how to Loft, Mesh, Disconnect and Split a single
object. Let the fun begin....
1. With Grid\Point Snap ON Draw a B-Spline in Front View.
Go to: Structure > Edit Spline > Round...use 20 point
default.

2. Functions > Duplicate. Copies = 17
DO Not Generate Instances.
Rotation H (X) = 360 degrees.
All others '0' as shown.
Click OK.

3. Objects > Loft NURBS.
Check Properties:
Organic Form...Adapt UV...
Subdivison Per Segment...Linear Interpolation
Deselect Loop if checked.
Caps = None

4. Drag each Spline, starting with Spline.17, onto the Loft.
The original Spline should end up at the top of the list.
Delete the leftover Null Object.
It's already a pumpkin thing without meshing....ooooooOOooo. Kill IT!

5. With the Loft selected In the Object Manager...
